Anas Ismail is a photographer based out of Chicago, IL. Born and raised in Palestine, his love for

photography grew from his passion of bringing to light what is often hidden; whether that be a local

news story, a heroic act, or an act of kindness.

“When my father bought me my first camera, the lens became my tool in expressing the world

around me. If I was not able to use the written word to get my point across, I would use the imagery

that I captured. After many years of taking photos at family gatherings and birthdays, I became more

comfortable with my skillset and began taking pictures of my own content.”

Ai Studio specializes in personalized photo sessions for make-up tutorials, weddings, graduations,

baby showers, and fashion shows. We also collaborate on freelance projects with local businesses

and entrepreneurs. 

“This broad spectrum of themes was key for me to be able to expand my expertise in different

environments and continue discovering new techniques to capture each moment uniquely to

produce an unforgettable image. I have realized that the ability to explore a collaboration, from its

inception to its fruition, is the most rewarding experience for me. I believe that anyone can take a

picture, but it takes a certain eye to capture a feeling.”
